I began my career as a one woman business designing hotels and healthcare facilities. That has evolved into a successful business with four other women and in recent years we have moved heavily into the residential area including new construction, remodeling and renovations. Whether it is a single room, very large home, office or healthcare facility, I love the whole interior design process from the first sketch to the last accessory. As an Interior Designer I enjoy working closely with the contractors and builders paying meticulous attention to every detail of a project. My client’s needs, desires and lifestyle are at the top of my priority list when designing their space. I love color and like to create an exciting array of combinations in furniture, fabrics and other materials in contemporary, traditional and transitional interiors. I also bring my eye for color into commercial and healthcare projects, creating spaces that are comfortable and inviting. Some recently completed projects are a 14,000 square foot home on the Gulf Coast of Florida, a 750 square foot condo in Buffalo, a very contemporary living room in Hamburg, NY and the corporate offices for a local law firm, Cellino & Barnes. I love to travel and have been fortunate to have projects in California, Florida, Massachusetts and Colorado. In my spare time I am an avid gardener and enjoy time with my family and our assortment of pets, including two full time “studio” cats that keep life in perspective in our busy office.
My true passion, besides the love of fabrics and furnishings, is the challenge of creating beautiful surroundings that reflect my client’s dreams and personalities; this is what I look forward to accomplishing on a daily basis. From the moment we meet till the end of their project is a positive and enjoyable process. I strive at educating my clients on the newest products available, along with the Interior design process. This way they can truly feel they have created a space which is uniquely their own. My interest in Interior Design began at a young age. Visits with my father and stepmother, an established designer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, always brought me to job sites, fabric and furniture showrooms. I became acquainted with the business of interior design and how important the relationships between the client and tradesmen can be on successful projects. This is why I excel at becoming a liaison between my clients and the tradesmen while working on their project. This truly is something I love to do. As a Senior Designer and Project Manager I have worked on many great projects both residentially and commercially, to name a few: Tanglewood Manor, Tanglewood Memory Garden, Woodbrook Adult Home and most recently Cellino & Barnes new corporate offices, each one of these has brought me a sense of accomplishment and pride. Call me today, and let’s get working! Education & Affiliations
For the past nine years, I have worked part time as a designer, while raising my four children. Nevertheless, Design is always on my mind. My personal time is always design related whether it be creating new furniture arrangements, keeping up with my favorite design literature or surrounding myself with an inspirational air. My husband and I recently designed and built a beautiful new home, where I am able to indulge my passion for Interior Design. I believe interiors should be as individual as we all are! My passion is to turn a space into something unique and personal. My current project is Briarwood Manor, an assisted living facility in Lockport, New York. Education & Affiliations
